The Chamber of Agribusiness Ghana has recently secured funding support from ActionAid Ghana to deliver Decent Work Charter for member agribusinesses. This funding aims to facilitate the implementation of the ambitious Decent Work Charter across its member agribusinesses, situated in the Northern region of their operational area.

To ensure inclusivity and active involvement of stakeholders, the Chamber has carefully handpicked ten agribusiness micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) based on their valuable contributions during the Charter's development and their remarkable track record of being in good standing within the industry.

The initiative has already commenced with the first session taking place in Tamale, where key stakeholders came together to discuss and initiate the process. The ongoing second phase is witnessing the Chamber's dedication in providing these selected enterprises with essential technical support. The focus is on helping these agribusinesses enhance their organizational structures and, more importantly, instilling the core principles and values of the Decent Work Charter into their policies.
